Newborn Hat (k)

I am going to give this newborn hat to my good friend, MK.
She will be upgraded to be a grandmother this end of Oct.
I know she will love it bec. it is hand-knitted by me.



The main colour is wool which was bought in Japan and the orange yarn is a locally made acrylic yarn.

Lee and I are happily married for 27 yrs and we have 3 grown kids (Kenny -25, Kristy-23 and Jamie-21)

Reaching the "heel"......

I am going to upload this photo to Six Sox Knitalong group's progress album today.

Thank you Rae, for designing this beautiful pattern! I enjoy knitting every single stitch of it.
Can't wait to finish the heel and start another side of the socks.

Another Day on Socks Knitting........

It is addicting!
I am reaching the alphabet's chart now!!
Rae(the designer)gave some examples of alphabets and numbers for us to create our own ,
but I can't think of any other better words!
I will follow Rae's socks to knit the "2006" on it.

Now I am starting to worry about knitting the cuff!! I don't quite understand the instructions given.
I guess I have to read more messages in the Six_Sox_Knitalong and hope ot learn more from other members.....

"Iris Garden" Socks in Progress.....

Not sure if I made it correctly?
I have finished the foot and working on the 8th row of the leg chart now........
The 1st photo is the front . The row of red yarn on the 2nd photo is my scrap yarn marker for the heel later.
I haven't done the "after heel thought" before. I hope someone from Six_Sox_Knitalong who is more experienced, can let me know if I have made any mistake.
