Drop Stitch Shrug/Scarf (knit)
Ee Vonn ( a young lady living next door to me) bought all these beautiful yarns for me when she flew to Beijing, China last month.
I spent a day to knit a drop stitch shrug/scarf for her.
EV is a Qatar Airline stewardess.
This time she models her own shrug for my blog.
I used a pair of very BIG needles, cast on only 20 st. and worked "drop stitch" all the way.

Scarf/Shrug (c)
This is specially made for my dd Jamie's friend who is going to study in the UK.
It can be used as a scarf or a shrug.
I spent 2 days to make it as the pattern used is very easy and simple.
I started from the center of the back, worked for 7.5" before I joined the row ( with a slip stitch) and continued the pattern in circle to make the sleeve.
After a sleeve is made, I joined yarn at the beginning row to make the other side of the back (7.5")and sleeve.
There is a photo below showing the beginning row where I joined the yarn to make another side.

2 Daisy Flower Squares for Krystal
These 2 squares with white background are ready to sent to Krystal. She asks for either white or black background colour.
The smaller one (yellow flower with green background) is the 1st square I tried. It is an inch smaller than the rest.
If you would like to have this pattern, please check out Krystal's blog :
Krochet Krystal.

Daisy Flower Charity Square (c)
Dick told us about this beautiful daisy flower square and posted the link as well to CreativeKorner group a few days ago.
If you would like to have this pattern, please check out the designer,Krystal's blog:
Krochet Krystal
where you can see lots of daisy squares made by Krystal and others.
I sent a request for the pattern and I got it !
The pic below is my 1st square made!! It is not so neatly done tho'.
The square is supposed to be 8" but mine is a little smaller.
I guess I have to crochet more and choose a few better looking ones to sent back to Krystal...

Purple Shrug(c)
As usual, I made this up myself and do not have any pattern for this shrug.
If anyone whould to know how I make a shrug, this is it:
I crocheted a rectangular piece of work, folded it into half, joined the sleeves, added some edging ....and ...ta!ta!.... a shrug is made!!
For this purple shrug, I started from the center of back. Crocheted until the desired length for the sleeve, then joined yarn (or thread) at the beginning row and crochetin the opposite direction.
You can see it clearly from my 1st photo below......
this is the pattern graph I used.
