Stars Water Bottle Holder (knit/crochet)

This is made for a 11 yo girl named Chye Yi.
I knitted her name on it with yellow stars and blue background as sky.
I have crocheted a pink one for her last year so I decided to knit this time instead of crochet again.

Below are some step by step progress photos.....
I crocheted the base and picked up 60 st. and knitted in the round with double-pointed needles.
You can see the star chart on the background. I crocheted the stripe bec I thought it will be stronger than a knitted stripe.

I knitted 3 pairs Mary Jane booties. There is a pair for newborn and 2 pairs which are slightly bigger. Aren't they so cute!!

I knitted extra 5 rows and it is too long for a newborn! I have to fold up 2 inches!
But it suits a baby tho'.

Toddler Dress (for a 3 yo )

As usual, I used the pineapple pattern of an adult's top to make the skirt's ruffles.
