Accordion Hat

Another new hat is done for my grandson.
This Accordion Hat is knitted with 2 bright vivid colours to make the accordion folds really stand out.
I think my needles are too big for this hat. I will try another one with smaller needles.

The pattern has alternating knit and purl ridges to make the hat really stretches out.
It is a very good idea to use it to make a neck warmer too.
