Covan's Mittens -fingerless with cover (k)

This 2 pairs of mittens are made for 1-yo-little Covan.
I knitted the 1st pair (blue) and found that they were a little too tight for him.
The 2nd pair(light green)is bigger and his fingers can move freely inside the mittens. They are actually "fingerless" with a cover.
