Tessalating Fish Afghan ....in Progress

This is IT!!! Not bad huh??
I love my choice of colors.... bright, colorful and looks so "happy"!
I have 65 fish joined and I am still "fishing".....

No, it is not done yet! This size can be used as a baby blanket, but I want it to be larger.
I will continue fishing and will let you know ....umm....may be a month later??

The close-up of front and back view...

The progress......

I searched all the messages regarding this fish afghan in Knitlist group and found some useful hints about blocking....esp this one from Judy Gibson.....

She says... "Just relax it with the steam and pat the fish into shape with your fingers. Lay your blankie out on a towel and hold a steam iron above it an inch or two. Then pfft pfft pat pat, pfft pfft pat pat. Careful not to scorch your fingers."

Thank you Judy for this useful tips for blocking the fish. I will do it this way when it is done.

This was posted earlier in my blog. It was the beginning....The pattern URL to this fish afghan is not working anymore. If anyone has any question,
pls email me at -- cynthiachiu830@yahoo.com

There are many different versions of fish afghan out there at the moment......
Here are 3 of them:

    Cyn,

It looks beautiful! I started (note started) one last year and lost the pattern I had. Maybe I figure it out again.

How many different colors are you using (too lazy to count).

    Have a great weekend.

    Tootles~
