Baby Bolero and Rose Fairy Hat

This cute "Rose Fairy Hat" and the baby white bolero are 2 of my gifts to Mary's granddaughter.

(Baby gifts included the "pink baby dress and bonnet" on my earlier post.)

Pls check out my slides below for the working progress.

This Red Rose Fairy Hat was made in Jan. this yr.

Just a tip here, you're not doing the Crocodile stitch correctly (on the pink baby hat.) The petals aren't supposed to line up below each other. They're supposed to be staggered. Look on youtube for videos of how to do the Crocodile Stitch correctly. The staggered petals look "much" better. Just trying to help.

Hi Tammy, thanks for your comment.
I wasn't doing the crocodile stitch. The original pattern is to make a 1 SC, 1 HDC, 2 DC, 1 HDC, 1 SC all in a petal. I didn't like it so I made all DC in a petal.
I know it doesn't look so nice but I will try to improve myself.
I will learn the crocodile stitch and make my crochet work better.
    Thank you again!
